Job Summary
Design and develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications by creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups based on UI/UX principles. Translate user needs and business requirements into functional, visually appealing interfaces while collaborating with product managers and developers to ensure design feasibility. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs, maintaining a consistent design system with UI components and style guides. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility using clean, reusable code with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
- 3–5 years of proven experience in UI/UX design and development
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and front-end development
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Understanding of REST APIs and integration with backend services
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Strong aesthetic sense with an eye for detail and consistency
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for user-centered design and improving the user experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with motion design and interaction animations
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
