Job Summary
UI/UX Software Engineer responsible for developing intuitive, responsive, browser-based UIs, researching and implementing software features across systems, and designing/ testing software with a focus on Angular 17+, Tailwind, MapLibre, and Linux environments. Requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and US citizenship. Responsibilities include converting customer and operational requirements into functional software, developing unit tests, and documenting technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE and experience with distributed version control, CI pipelines, data schemas (JSON/OpenAPI/Protobuf), and geospatial tooling (Cesium/OpenLayers/MapLibre). Salary range: $140,000–$199,000 with comprehensive benefits; located in Aurora, CO or Meridian, CO with on-site (IN_PERSON) work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI access
- Requires US Citizenship
- Experience with software development lifecycle and use of associated tools
- Experience with open-source libraries and frameworks like Angular 17+, Tailwind, and MapLibre
- Experience with web-based API design and use
- Experience developing software on and for Linux systems
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills
- High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in team settings to solve complex problems
