Job Summary
Lead UX conceptualization and front-end architecture for advanced engineering and research systems, translating intricate technical workflows into intuitive, scalable interfaces. Architect interactive canvas experiences for decomposing complex mechanical assemblies and implement advanced visualization controls for simulation outputs and kinematic movement. Drive design and implementation of core HCI components, execute iterative design validation cycles, and collaborate cross-functionally with research scientists to convert domain complexity into usable product interfaces.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 5 years of experience delivering scalable, enterprise-grade web applications
- Proven ability to lead UX conceptualization and interaction design for technically complex platforms
- Strong expertise in React and Next.js
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Deep understanding of UI architecture, usability standards, and HCI principles
- Hands-on experience with 3D web graphics libraries such as Three.js
- Experience building responsive and adaptive interfaces across modern browsers
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex engineering requirements into intuitive design systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic background
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with CAD tools or engineering design ecosystems
- Exposure to advanced data visualization or graph-based UI frameworks
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Copilotkit
- Working knowledge of Python in environments leveraging LLM agents or LangGraph
