Job Summary
Design and deliver accessible UI/UX solutions for a VA project using Figma; translate requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes; contribute to and maintain design systems and UI patterns; conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions; ensure Section 508 accessibility compliance and guidance across teams; support accessibility audits and remediation; work within Agile teams and translate accessibility findings into actionable guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio
- Strong understanding of Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles
- Demonstrated experience designing accessible interfaces and supporting Section 508 compliance
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate user needs into effective design solutions
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Experience working in Agile environments with iterative development cycles
