Job Summary
Build application features and reusable UI components in React 18+, writing unit and integration tests with Jest and React Testing Library. Manage frontend state using React Query, Redux, and hooks while collaborating with Product Management and UX Design teams to detail requirements and review work in progress. Participate in stand-ups, peer code reviews, and support/deployment rotations, ensuring strict adherence to design and functional specifications. Work Monday-Thursday in-office with remote flexibility on Fridays within the Structured Investments & Annuities Technology team.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with React
- 1+ years of experience with JavaScript state management tools (React Query, Redux, Mobx, etc.)
- 1+ years of test automation development
- Comfortable with modern AI-assisted development tools and workflows, with the judgment to apply AI strategically where it improves productivity, quality, and decision-making
- Able to solve problems proactively
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a group effort, as required
- Collaborative approach to software development
- Active participation in recurring stand-up meetings, refinement, and retrospectives
- Participate in thorough Peer Code Reviews as part of our standard SDLC and Change Management Process
- Participate in support and deployment rotations
- Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday
