Job Summary
Lead and drive the Software QA lifecycle in an Agile environment by analyzing requirements, enhancements, and defect fixes to identify testing scope and risks. Design and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and traceability matrices while developing and executing UI, functional, integration, regression, and non-functional automation tests. Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web applications, integrate suites into CI/CD pipelines, and perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive UI testing. Validate enterprise workflows and data migration applications, conduct root cause analysis, and generate test reports and dashboards. Leverage AI-powered QA tools for test planning, case generation, and defect analysis. Requires 5+ years of experience with Java, Cypress, Playwright, and Jenkins. Located in Chennai.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years
- B.E/B.Tech/Postgraduate in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Cypress and Playwright
- Experience in building automation frameworks using TestNG (Data-Driven, Hybrid, BDD)
- Experience with API testing and automation using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, DOM, REST APIs, and browser debugging
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Xray
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Basic knowledge of Linux commands and cross-platform environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise SaaS or Data Migration products
- Exposure to performance testing tools
- Understanding of ETL workflows, database migration, and large-scale data validation
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in Agile environments
