Job Summary

As a UHP Mechanic, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot 40K and 55K Ultra High Pressure water blasting pumps. Perform preventative maintenance on diesel-powered and industrial equipment, troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and engine-related issues, and repair or replace worn components. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records, ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards, assist with equipment preparation for field operations, and uphold a clean, safe work environment in an industrial/marine coatings context. Familiarity with FLOW Ultra High Pressure equipment, JLG and forklift certifications, and TWIC credential are advantageous; willingness to obtain required certifications and work overtime as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in demanding conditions, and operate in proximity to maritime vessels while following site safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience repairing diesel engines and industrial equipment used in the marine, coatings preservation, construction, or heavy equipment industries.
  • Experience servicing 40K and 55K UHP water blasting pumps.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with FLOW® Ultra High Pressure equipment.
  • JLG equipment certification preferred.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified after hire.
  • Experience working in a marine, shipyard, or industrial environment.
  • Current TWIC Credential or the ability to obtain one if required for assigned work.
