Job Summary
Provides nursing support to the physician and direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient setting. The role involves direct patient care according to the patient's plan, performing therapeutic procedures, observing and reporting patient conditions, assisting in examinations, documenting interventions, and administering medications. Requires a current Licensed Practical Nurse license and certification in Basic Life Support, as well as one year of LPN experience. Must handle physically demanding tasks and work in a potentially hazardous environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire
- One (1) year of LPN experience
- State criminal background check and Federal if applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work successfully under highly stressful conditions
- Skilled with computer systems used by physician offices and hospitals
- Ability to function as a team member
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and all shifts
