Job Summary
Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazards. Operate light-to-heavy equipment for underground streetlight installation, maintenance, and repair. Assist tradesmen with excavation and conduit work while identifying utilities to prevent strikes. Restock trucks with supplies and maintain all equipment. Work in field environments involving extended periods of bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to inclement weather. Requires valid driver's license and physical stamina. MasTec Utility Services delivers critical infrastructure solutions for power, gas, and water customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more or 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships.
- Precise hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience.
- CDL Class A driver's license.
