Job Summary
Architect and design automated testing frameworks using UFT One, ensuring high scalability, performance, and maintainability while developing robust strategies for functional, regression, and performance testing. Lead the integration of these frameworks into CI/CD pipelines and drive continuous improvement of testing processes. Provide technical guidance to development and QA teams, mentoring junior members on automation best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align on software delivery timelines and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks to optimize testing efficiency. Manage testing schedules to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. Requires 10 to 20 years of experience with UFT One, strong scripting skills in VBScript or JavaScript, and expertise in Agile methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- 10 to 20 years experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in UFT One (Unified Functional Testing) or HP QTP
- strong background in test automation
- Extensive experience in software architecture, integration, and implementation of test automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of test automation best practices, CI/CD, and integration of testing tools with development workflows
- Proficient in scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, etc.) used within UFT One for automating tests
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with performance testing and integration with other tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter)
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions and integration with cloud services
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., ALM, Jira, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments
