Job Summary
Greet and thank every customer while providing outstanding service in the cutting room. Assist the Meat Manager with pulls and rotation as requested, maintaining sanitation in the work area. Clean the front, top, and back of all cases daily and keep wrapping supplies organized. Comply with all company policies, including dress code and name tag requirements. Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently while using knives and sharp instruments. Requires good vision, hearing, and the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery. This entry-level role supports the Meat Department Manager in delivering quality product to customers in a clean, friendly environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
