Job Summary
Wrap and price fresh meat and seafood while providing exceptional service to clientele. Maintain daily sanitation practices by cleaning the front, top, and back of cases. Report pricing discrepancies between scales and advertised prices, and assist the manager with rotation and pulls. Keep all supplies organized and adhere to safety guidelines while using knives and sharp instruments. This medium work requires lifting 60 lb. boxes and exerting 25-60 lbs. of force frequently. You must have good vision and hearing, and be able to stand, kneel, and work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
