Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele by sharing expert knowledge on meat and seafood, cutting and preparing products to meet trim, cut, and prepared consumer sized portions while properly pulling and rotating meat cases. Assume the Meat Manager's responsibilities in their absence as requested, assisting with receiving trucks and breaking down loads into coolers. Adhere to all safety guidelines, reporting any missing or non-functional safety mechanisms immediately, and comply with company policies including dress code and required training. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest training available for meat and seafood operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
