Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to clientele by sharing expert knowledge on meat and seafood products. Assist the Meat Manager in receiving trucks, breaking down loads, and completing daily duties when requested. Cut and prepare meat and seafood to meet trim, cut, and prepared consumer sized portions while properly pulling and rotating cases. Follow all safety guidelines, report missing mechanisms, and comply with company policies including dress code and training requirements. This medium work requires lifting 60 lb. boxes and using knives, with good vision and hearing.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
