Job Summary
Plan and deliver structured, effective group fitness classes with appropriate music and choreography. Demonstrate exercises while providing clear cueing, educating participants on proper form and modifications, and ensuring safe equipment use. Monitor members in real-time to make adjustments and create a positive, inclusive environment. Set up and store all equipment, operate sound and lighting systems, and accurately record hours. Communicate member feedback to the Program Manager and promote gym programs and special events.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of exercise science principles and safe training techniques
- General understanding of anatomy and kinesiology
- Experience with group fitness instruction, including music timing and cueing
- High energy level and physical stamina
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly and effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Current Group Fitness certification (preferred)
