Job Summary
Conduct LGBTQ+ primary care, gender-affirming care, and HIV/hepatitis management across outpatient settings while delivering high-resolution anoscopy and substance use medicine. Provide behavioral and mental health care for adolescents and adults, manage intersex individuals, and support LGBTQ+ asylum and refugee health. Engage in longitudinal scholarly projects with dedicated faculty mentorship, participate in structured didactic sessions and case conferences, and contribute to quality improvement and program development initiatives. Develop and deliver educational programming for medical students, residents, and healthcare professionals within the David Geffen School of Medicine curriculum.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited (or equivalent) residency by June 30, 2027, in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine Pediatrics specialties
- Eligibility for California medical licensure
- Demonstrated commitment to LGBTQ+ health equity and culturally responsive patient care
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Interest in leadership, education, scholarship, and quality improvement
