Job Summary
Conduct advanced clinical training in LGBTQ+ primary care, gender-affirming care, HIV prevention, and substance use medicine within outpatient settings. Participate in structured didactic sessions, case conferences, and longitudinal scholarly projects with dedicated faculty mentorship. Develop and deliver educational programming for medical students and contribute to curriculum development at the David Geffen School of Medicine. Engage in research, quality improvement initiatives, and advocacy to advance health equity for sexual and gender minority populations. Complete a one-year program from July 2027 to June 2028 with access to UCLA's extensive LGBTQ+ healthcare ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited (or equivalent) residency by June 30, 2027, in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine Pediatrics specialties
- Eligibility for California medical licensure
- Demonstrated commitment to LGBTQ+ health equity and culturally responsive patient care
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Interest in leadership, education, scholarship, and quality improvement
