Job Summary
Conduct advanced clinical training in LGBTQ+ primary care, gender-affirming care, HIV management, and substance use medicine within outpatient settings. Deliver educational programming for medical students and residents while participating in structured didactic sessions, case conferences, and longitudinal scholarly projects with dedicated faculty mentorship. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and LGBTQ+ curriculum development at the David Geffen School of Medicine. This one-year, non-ACGME fellowship prepares physician leaders to advance clinical care, education, research, and advocacy for sexual and gender minority populations within UCLA Health's premier LGBTQ+ healthcare ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited (or equivalent) residency by June 30, 2027, in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine Pediatrics specialties
- Eligibility for California medical licensure
- Demonstrated commitment to LGBTQ+ health equity and culturally responsive patient care
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Interest in leadership, education, scholarship, and quality improvement
