Job Summary
Conduct advanced training in LGBTQ+ primary care, gender-affirming care, HIV management, and substance use medicine across outpatient settings. Deliver educational programming for medical students and residents while engaging in research, quality improvement, and curriculum development within the David Geffen School of Medicine. Participate in structured didactic sessions, case conferences, and longitudinal scholarly projects under faculty mentorship. Complete a one-year program from July 1, 2027, to June 30, 2028, with an annual salary of $125,000. Train within UCLA Health's largest LGBTQ+ healthcare ecosystem, collaborating with the LA LGBT Center and serving a diverse Southern California population.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited (or equivalent) residency by June 30, 2027, in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine Pediatrics specialties
- Eligibility for California medical licensure
- Demonstrated commitment to LGBTQ+ health equity and culturally responsive patient care
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Interest in leadership, education, scholarship, and quality improvement
