Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a technically complex environment, prioritizing a multidisciplinary team approach and evidence-based practice. Support new staff through precepting and competency validation while contributing to secure safety and quality at the point of care. This onsite role requires a Registered Nurse with six months of ICU experience, ACLS certification, and a valid BLS/CPR card. Schedule is PRN weekend days with pay ranging from $35.29 to $54.71 per hour based on experience. Join a team dedicated to improving lives through learning, healing, and discovery.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- ACLS
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
- Shift: Weekend Days
- PRN schedule
