Job Summary
Patient Care Assistant (PCA) in the MedSurg Department at Avita Galion Hospital. Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN/LVN; assists patients with activities of daily living; maintains a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients. Requires current BLS certification (or within 30 days of hire); STNA certification or related nursing assistant experience preferred. Location: Avita Galion Hospital – MedSurg, Galion, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire date
- Preferred: STNA certification or applicable nursing assistant experience
- Experience as nursing assistant (preferred)
