Job Summary
Provide outpatient pediatric orthopaedic non-operative care at UC Davis Health and Shriners Hospitals, with responsibility for teaching and supervising fellows, residents, and medical students. Participate in departmental meetings, conferences, hospital and departmental committees. The role is offered at the Assistant or Associate rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series, with salary ranges aligned to rank ($200,000-$265,000 for Assistant; $228,000-$285,000 for Associate) and requires eligibility for California licensure. The environment emphasizes cooperative, collegial work within a diverse setting and compliance with University policy; teaching experience in an academic clinical setting is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- MD (or equivalent degree)
- completed an approved residency program with Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or PM&R
- eligible for licensure in California and/or active California medical license prior to appointment
- ability to teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment
- demonstrated teaching experience in an academic clinical setting preferred
