Job Summary
Coach and model exceptional customer service on the sales floor while training and overseeing daily work activities for team members across store departments. Provide direction to staff on merchandising, loss prevention, and operational procedures to ensure the store remains sound. Act as the manager-on-duty by assisting with sales transactions, resolving customer complaints, and managing multiple projects to meet workload goals. Perform routine housekeeping tasks including dusting, mopping, and trash removal while maintaining a flexible schedule of at least 30 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age to be considered for employment.
- Basic reading, writing and accounting skills required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills needed.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in a retail setting preferred.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Outstanding customer service skills to match customers to products that meet their needs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.
