Job Summary
Perform organizational and intermediate level maintenance on UC-35 Cessna Citation aircraft by servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying avionics, electrical systems, engines, flight controls, and airframe components. Execute engine run or taxi operations and aircraft recovery missions as necessary while complying with aircraft records procedures and utilizing computerized maintenance software. Interpret manufacturers' manuals and service bulletins to determine repair feasibility, ensuring discrepancies are recorded within approved maintenance procedures. Maintain a valid FAA A&P Certificate and work any shift or day under the Union CBA contract.
Required Qualifications
- Valid (FAA) A&P Certificate
- US Citizenship
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials and authorization
- Ability to pass a physical examination from a qualified medical professional
- BMI under 40
- Ability to stand, squat, sit, walk, work with arms overhead for extended periods of time
- Ability to pull, push, lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to move freely about the interior and in the unpressurized area aft of the aft pressure bulkhead
- Ability to meet aircraft specific specs for weight limit
- Mechanic Tools/Toolbox
- Tools etched with mechanic PID
- Toolbox shadowed for each tool
- Ability to work any shift and/or days, hours as assigned under the Union CBA
- Ability to work and/or rotate for a multiple shift operation
- Ability to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining professional and non-confrontational attitude
- Ability to meet requirement to obtain certification within 12 months of employment
- Knowledge of DA PAM 738-751
- Knowledge of approved maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of terms of the contract
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance software
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturers' maintenance manuals
- Ability to read and interpret service bulletins
- Ability to read and interpret other specifications
- Ability to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components

- Five (5) years of UC-35 Cessna Citation hands-on A&P aircraft mechanic experience
- Ten (10) years of A&P mechanic experience
- Thirteen (13) years of UC-35 Cessna Citation specific aircraft experience
- Two (2) or more years of specific UC-35 experience
- Ten (10) years of UC-35 Cessna Citation hands-on A&P aircraft mechanic experience
