Job Summary
Full-time UAV/UGV Technician in SURVICE Engineering's Applied Technology Operation (Churchville, MD) responsible for designing mechanical components and sub-assemblies, developing assembly drawings and procedures, assembling units and sub-units, repairing and maintaining UAV/UGV systems, and supporting UAV flight operations. Preferred qualifications include trade certification, mechanical/electrical assembly experience, SolidWorks familiarity, Part 107 license, and strong communication skills; must be a U.S. citizen eligible for DoD Secret clearance. Travel up to 25%.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Part 107 License Preferred
- Trade degree/certification preferred
- Experience building mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies in a laboratory or production environment
- Experience with SolidWorks is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Team player with initiative and effective communication skills
