Job Summary
Oversee logistics and maintenance of ground support assets for UAV operations, including flight line setup, delivery, and equipment readiness. Train and qualify 3PL resources while organizing schedules and work instructions to ensure operational objectives are met. Conduct regular operational reviews, enforce aviation safety compliance, and perform risk assessments. Supervise UAV-related equipment maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage inventory of drones, tools, and accessories. Facilitate training using SMS and Wing-approved documentation, maintain detailed operational logs and incident reports, and prepare regular activity reports. Collaborate with technical teams for timely repairs and work with management to improve workflows and ensure continuous operational improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Other relevant computer application skills related to UAV technology
- Experience in the commercial or industrial use of UAVs
- Strong safety and work ethic
- Ability to recognize the importance of properly handling hazardous materials, chemicals, toots, etc.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow technical assembly instructions
- Ability to think in 3D
- Strong concentration skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must be able to tolerate outside work environment
- Must be physically fit to walk for extensive periods of time
- Must be able to reach over shoulder heights
- Must be able to bend or stoop below the waist
- Must be able to perform repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement
- Must be able to perform occasional lifting to 100 pounds (as team lift)
- Must be able to interface cooperatively with departmental team members and clients
Desired Qualifications
