Job Summary
Lead aircraft assembly execution for a UAV production line, cell, or program, coordinating build sequencing and flow while owning workmanship standards and standard work adherence. Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and quality on process improvements, support production readiness and design transitions, and drive rate increases. Lead root cause investigations for workmanship issues, train and develop aircraft assembly personnel, and ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA, and internal quality systems. Roles include Level III responsibilities for complex assemblies, Level II for sub-assemblies and installations, and Level I for basic components, with a senior leadership mandate and 7+ years of experience guiding multiple programs. Requires ability to mentor, maintain thorough documentation, and maintain safety and quality standards across shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 7+ years of aircraft/aerospace/automotive manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated production leadership without formal people management
- Strong understanding of production risk, quality, and rate balance
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
