UAV Aircraft Assembler IV

Lead aircraft assembly execution for a production line, cell, or program. Own workmanship standards and standard work adherence. Coordinate build sequencing, task prioritization, and flow within the cell. Partner with manufacturing engineering and quality on process improvements. Support production readiness, rate increases, and design transitions. Lead root cause investigations for workmanship-related issues. Train, coach, and develop aircraft assembly personnel. Ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA, and internal quality systems. Responsibilities (Level III): Assemble complex aircraft structures and multi-system installations; conduct first-article and early production builds; resolve documentation discrepancies; perform detailed in-process inspections; identify recurring build issues and recommend improvements; mentor Aircraft Assembler I–II personnel; maintain consistent workmanship across shifts. Responsibilities (Level II): Assemble aircraft structures and sub-assemblies to released drawings; drilling, reaming, fastening, torquing, sealing; install production-released components; route tubing, hoses, and cables; conduct in-process inspections; maintain as-built documentation via MES; execute standard work to meet takt time. Responsibilities (Level I): Assemble basic components and sub-assemblies; perform drilling, fastening, and hardware installation; install brackets, panels, and structural components; follow torque and sealing procedures; perform self-inspection; maintain production documentation; uphold FOD, safety, and quality standards; support senior assemblers.
