Job Summary
Attend the UAS Part 107 class on campus or via Zoom, follow instructor guidelines, and provide tutoring hours after class to support high school students. Assist students directly during sessions, handle administrative tasks like welcoming attendees and managing logins, and maintain a weekly log of student attendance and progress. Respond to student inquiries while working effectively as a team contributor within the UAS Project. This role requires expertise in UAS systems and FAA Part 107 regulations, with a Bachelor's degree and strong communication skills. Candidates must have reliable internet access and may need to travel to various NYC locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- expertise and prior experience in UAS systems
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to communicate with students
- good internet connection to attend the class via zoom
- be able to sit, stand, and navigate within the office area
- be able to travel to various NYC locations
