Job Summary
Perform utility pole inspections and assessments to evaluate structural condition. Conduct in-field data collection using advanced Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) technology, including laser and ultrasonic measurement devices. Utilize cloud-based platforms to analyze engineering data and identify National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) violations. Document NESC violations and other utility-related issues while ensuring accurate reporting of inspection results. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of work quality.
Required Qualifications
- experience with advanced Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) technology
- experience with laser measurement devices
- experience with ultrasonic measurement tools
- experience with cloud-based platforms for data collection and analysis
- knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC)
- ability to perform utility pole inspections
- ability to conduct in-field data collection
- ability to identify and document NESC violations
- ability to ensure accurate and detailed reporting of inspection results
- ability to follow safety protocols
