Job Summary
Maintain in working order fabrication, assembly, and test equipment for ceramic multilayer interconnections, surface mount assemblies, and electronic combat systems. Perform functional tests, align circuitry, and execute electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs requiring equipment dismantlement. Conduct preventive maintenance including filter changes, fluid replacements, and lubrication. Modify equipment using schematics and change bulletins while preparing maintenance reports for classified personnel. Operate computing equipment to upload programs and edit CNC or PLC logic. Requires seven years in industrial electronics, an associate's degree or equivalent study, and IBEW union representation. Located in Linthicum, Maryland.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or recognized equivalent
- Associate's Degree (minimum 60 semester hours) or two years (minimum 60 semester hours) of college level study with a major in Electronics
- Minimum of six months military electronics school
- Two years working experience in the maintenance and repair of electro-mechanical equipment
- Seven years minimum experience in industrial electronics environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of electro-mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic manufacturing and analysis equipment
- U.S. Citizenship
