Job Summary
Private Banker in J.P. Morgan’s U.S. Private Bank focused on advising families on building, preserving and managing wealth. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, understanding client needs, delivering targeted advice, generating new assets, advising on overall balance sheet (investments, wealth planning, credit and banking), collaborating with internal specialists, connecting clients across lines of business, and ensuring solutions meet short- to long-term goals within risk and control policies.
Required Qualifications
- Six plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required for position; unlicensed candidates considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen
- Strong community presence with an established network
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
- Focuses on the client experience and works tirelessly on the client’s behalf
