Job Summary
Private Banker at J.P. Morgan’s U.S. Private Bank advising families on wealth-building, preservation and balance-sheet management. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, generating new assets, advising on asset allocation, investments, wealth planning, credit and banking, partnering with internal specialists, and coordinating across lines of business while strictly adhering to risk and regulatory policies. Requires six+ years in private banking/financial services, a Bachelor’s degree, Series 7/66 and Insurance licenses (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and demonstrated sales success with an established network. The role emphasizes delivering a holistic, goals-based planning approach and exceptional client experience.
Required Qualifications
- Six plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required for position; unlicensed candidates considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen
- Strong community presence with an established network
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
- Focuses on the client experience and works tirelessly on the client’s behalf
