Job Summary
Private Banker in J.P. Morgan's U.S. Private Bank manages and grows wealth for families, advising on balance sheets, asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit and banking needs. Responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, generating new assets, collaborating with internal specialists, connecting clients across lines of business, ensuring solutions meet goals, and adhering to risk and control policies. Requires a track record of client-focused advisory and ongoing wealth-management expertise; supports business growth through targeted advice and holistic planning across short-, medium-, and long-term objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Six plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required (unlicensed candidates considered, but must obtain licenses within 90 days of start date)
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen
- Strong community presence with an established network
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
