Job Summary
Private Banker – Vice President responsible for advising families on building, preserving and managing their wealth within J.P. Morgan’s U.S. Private Bank. Lead client relationships, provide holistic balance-sheet solutions across investments, wealth planning, credit and banking, and drive new client acquisition. Collaborate with internal specialists, connect clients across lines of business, adhere to risk and control policies, and operate with an entrepreneurial mindset to deliver exceptional client experiences. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree, Series 7/66 and Insurance licenses (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and six+ years of relevant Private Banking/Financial Services experience. Preferred qualifications include MBA/JD/CFA/CFP and strong knowledge of equity, fixed income, alternatives, and wealth management concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required (unlicensed candidates considered but must obtain licenses within 90 days)
- At least six plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
