Job Summary
Private Banker – Vice President at U.S. Private Bank is responsible for advising families on building, preserving and managing their wealth, using investments, wealth planning, credit and banking expertise to advise clients on balance sheets, generate new assets, and deliver exceptional client experiences. You will manage client relationships, acquire new assets from existing clients and new acquisition, advise on overall balance sheets, partner with internal specialists for interdisciplinary expertise, connect clients across lines of business, ensure solutions align with short-, medium-, and long-term goals, adhere to risk and regulatory policies, and obtain required licenses within 90 days. Strong sales results, a robust professional network, and knowledge of equity and fixed income markets, hedge funds, private equity, and real estate are noted as desirable. Preferred qualifications include MBA, JD, CFA, or CFP and excellent presentation and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Six plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required for position; unlicensed candidates considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen
- Strong community presence with an established network
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
- Focuses on the client experience and works tirelessly on the client’s behalf
