Job Summary
Private Banker in J.P. Morgan's U.S. Private Bank responsible for advising families on building, preserving and managing wealth. Duties include advising on balance sheets, asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, and credit/banking needs; generating new assets from existing clients and new acquisitions; partnering with internal specialists; connecting clients across lines of business; and ensuring solutions meet short-, mid-, and long-term goals while adhering to risk and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Six plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required; unlicensed candidates considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen
- Strong community presence with an established network
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
