Job Summary
Private Banker (Executive Director) at J.P. Morgan’s U.S. Private Bank. Responsible for advising families on building, preserving and managing wealth, leveraging investments, financial planning, credit and banking to advise current clients and acquire new assets. Work with internal specialists, connect clients across lines of business, ensure holistic goals-based planning, and adhere to risk and regulatory guidelines. Requires strong client relationship management, business development, and deep knowledge of investments and wealth management. | Location: New York, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Six plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required for position; unlicensed candidates considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen
- Strong community presence with an established network
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
- Focuses on the client experience and works tirelessly on the client’s behalf
