Job Summary
Private Banker in the U.S. Private Bank advising families on building, preserving and managing wealth; provide targeted advice on balance sheets, investments, wealth planning, credit and banking; generate new client assets and acquire new business; partner with internal specialists to deliver interdisciplinary solutions and connect clients across lines of business; adhere to risk and control policies and regulatory guidelines; requires six+ years in private banking, Bachelor's degree, and licenses (Series 7, 66 and Insurance) with licenses to be obtained within 90 days. Preferred qualifications include MBA/JD/CFA/CFP and experience with equity/fixed income markets, hedge funds, private equity, and real estate.
Required Qualifications
- Six plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required for position; unlicensed candidates considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen
- Strong community presence with an established network
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
