Job Summary
Private Banker in J.P. Morgan’s U.S. Private Bank advises families on building, preserving and managing wealth. You will manage client relationships, provide targeted advice on the balance sheet, asset allocation, and wealth planning, generate new client assets, and coordinate with internal specialists to deliver holistic solutions across lines of business. The role emphasizes delivering an exceptional client experience, acquiring new assets from both existing clients and new relationships, and applying knowledge of investments, credit and banking to meet clients’ short-, medium-, and long-term objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Three plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required for position; unlicensed candidates considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen
- Strong community presence with an established network
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
- Focuses on the client experience and works tirelessly on the client’s behalf
