Job Summary
Private Banker in JPMorgan’s U.S. Private Bank advises families on building and managing wealth, leveraging investments, wealth planning, credit and banking to serve client needs. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, acquiring assets from existing clients and new leads, advising on balance sheets and holistic planning, partnering with internal specialists, connecting clients across lines of business, and ensuring solutions align with client goals while adhering to risk and control policies. The role requires a senior level of expertise with a track record of sales success, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and licenses (Series 7, 66 and Insurance) with a 90‐day license-completion window; MBA/JD/CFA/CFP are preferred for advanced qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Six plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required; unlicensed candidates considered but must obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen
- Strong community presence with an established network
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts
- Focuses on the client experience and works tirelessly on the client’s behalf
