Job Summary
Lending Specialist in the U.S. Private Bank responsible for managing ultra-high net worth clients' complex borrowing relationships by presenting J.P. Morgan Private Bank credit solutions, partnering with Bankers to uncover needs, originating credit leads, leading credit marketing initiatives, handling deal analysis and due diligence, supervising credit memos, monitoring portfolio risk, and guiding underwriters to implement debt-structure changes in response to risk. Requires a senior level track record with extensive credit/product knowledge, ability to communicate sophisticated credit concepts to clients, and a background in wealth management and complex credit transactions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses required (candidates may obtain within 90 days)
- Ten plus years of experience with extensive credit, loan and deposit products
- Prior experience structuring credit transactions
- Completion of formal credit training program
- Demonstrated understanding of wealth management including investment management, trusts, and financial planning
- Expert knowledge of complex credit products and concepts (e.g., residential real estate loans, concentrated collateral loans, unsecured lending, marketable secured lending, aircraft finance, art lending)
