Job Summary
Investment Specialist at U.S. Private Bank (JP Morgan) provides support to Investors in daily business, helps bankers win new clients and deepen existing relationships. Responsibilities include supporting investment reviews to validate client objectives, preparing recommendations of investment products, assisting with development of investment policy statements and asset allocation, building relationships with internal clients, coordinating sales efforts with Investors, and adhering to policies regarding securities transactions and code of conduct. Requires Bachelor’s degree and Series 7/66 and Insurance licenses (licenses must be obtained within 90 days); capital markets or institutional brokerage experience; strong multitasking, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required for position; unlicensed candidates considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
- Capital markets or institutional brokerage experience
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Internet/Intranet with the ability to learn proprietary software and databases
