Job Summary
Investment Specialist in the U.S. Private Bank will communicate market strategy and investment knowledge to clients and investment committees, consult on portfolio objectives and long-term asset allocations, and execute investment solutions across the Open Architecture platform (Fixed Income, Equities, Alternatives, Mutual Funds, Structured Products, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, FX). Responsibilities include developing and implementing investment plans aligned to client goals, conducting portfolio reviews, participating in new business opportunities with Integrated Team Members and senior management, and supporting sales activities such as RFPs, pitches, road shows, and campaigns. The role requires ability to collaborate with internal product partners, banking teams, risk and compliance, and marketing; mentorship and guidance to junior staff; and the ability to learn and apply JP Morgan’s platform and investment philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- Two plus years of experience in Wealth Management or Investment Management
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required; unlicensed candidates considered, but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
- Strong knowledge of asset classes (fixed income, equities, and alternatives)
