U.S. Immigration Paralegal

Job Summary
Prepare, organize, and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation while drafting and reviewing legal documents, declarations, affidavits, and client correspondence. Communicate with clients to gather information, request supporting documentation, provide case updates, and respond to inquiries. Maintain organized digital case files and manage CRM systems including PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Docketwise, Pipefile, and Monday.com. Track filing deadlines, monitor case progress, and assist with scheduling and administrative coordination. Collaborate closely with attorneys and legal support staff on case preparation and workflow management. Utilize legal technology and AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and workflow efficiency. Maintain a minimum of 6 hours of overlap with the firm's Pacific Time operating hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience handling U.S. immigration cases
- Demonstrated experience preparing and managing U.S. immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation
- Experience using legal case management and CRM software including platforms such as Docketwise, PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Pipefile, or similar systems
- Strong drafting, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to meet performance goals and productivity expectations in a fast-paced legal environment
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- A reliable home office setup including high-speed internet and a backup power solution to ensure consistent availability during power outages
- Ability to maintain a minimum of 6 hours of overlap with the firm's operating hours in Pacific Time (PT)
