Job Summary
Apply business improvement and reengineering principles to natural resources organizational development and process modernization projects. Support and facilitate project teams in the accomplishment of project activities and objectives, including staff transitions. Provide strategic advice on fundamental drivers of business performance and analyze data to discern problems, identify opportunities, and predict trends. Translate data into powerful displays and support knowledge transfer activities through group facilitation, interviewing, and training. This role enables business transformation through facilitation, data analysis, modernization, and knowledge transfer for the U.S. Forest Service Program Management Support contract. Work is performed remotely during regular business hours, occasionally requiring field-going activities in outdoor environments. Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship is required.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to complete background investigations and Personal Identity Verification (PIV)
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years of experience in natural resources, business, management, information systems, or other related fields
- Demonstrated knowledge of facilitation, management consulting, training, or business improvement techniques and skills
- Skilled in areas such as, but not limited to, methodology development, change management, organizational development, activity and data modeling, performance measurement, benchmarking, and identifying best practices
- Must be able to assist or lead in the facilitation of discussions and meetings with customer staff
