Job Summary
Conduct profit/loss analyses, hire and mentor new team members, and track itemized inventory to keep the center profitable and efficient. Manage the fleet for clean equipment delivery, oversee the personnel budget, and ensure customers receive high-quality service while monitoring fuel receipts and petty cash. Maintain a secure environment by cleaning premises and participating in continuous U-Haul education. Requires 1-3 years of management experience, computer and organizational expertise, and a valid driver's license. Work weekends and holidays; moderate physical exertion and safety precautions apply.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of management experience in retail or another service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction
- Computer expertise
- Organizational expertise
- Management proficiency in high-volume retail with profit and loss (P&L) accountability
- Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Consistent with applicable state law, U-Haul will not hire or re-hire individuals who use nicotine products
