Job Summary
Manage the fleet to deliver clean, well-maintained equipment and perform profit/loss analyses to keep the center profitable and efficient. Hire and mentor new team members, track inventory, and manage the personnel budget while ensuring customers receive the highest quality of care. Keep track of fuel receipts, petty cash, and maintain a secure environment through continuous premises monitoring. Participate in ongoing U-Haul education at U-Haul University. Requires 1-3 years of management experience in retail or service industries with P&L accountability, computer and organizational expertise, and a valid driver's license. Full medical, dental, vision, and stock ownership plans available.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of management experience in retail or another service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction
- Computer expertise
- Organizational expertise
- Management proficiency in high-volume retail with profit and loss (P&L) accountability
- Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
