Job Summary
U-Haul Moving Center General Manager in Saint Peters, MO. Responsible for keeping the center profitable and efficient by hiring effective staff, tracking inventory and managing equipment; solve problems as they arise; manage fleet to deliver clean, well-maintained equipment; perform profit/loss analyses; hire and mentor new team members; monitor fuel receipts and petty cash; ensure customer care quality; participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University; and oversee safety and security of the premises. Requires 1-3 years of management in retail/service, high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and ability to work weekends/holidays. Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of management experience in retail or service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Experience with profit and loss (P&L) accountability
