Job Summary
As General Manager at a U-Haul Moving Center in Florence, SC, you will be responsible for keeping the center profitable and efficient by hiring capable staff, managing inventory, and overseeing equipment. Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of management experience in retail or service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction
- Computer/organizational skills
- Management proficiency in high-volume retail with profit and loss (P&L) accountability
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Staff hiring and mentoring experience
- Inventory tracking and budget management
- Ability to drive and manage fleet operations
- willingness to participate in ongoing training (U-Haul University)
